Terry W. Church
Attorney at LawTerry Church has been practicing law in the South Puget Sound since 1990. He limits his practice to representing injured individuals. A strong advocate for his clients, Terry has achieved excellent results in both settlement and litigation settings.
Terry graduated cum laude from the University of Puget Sound School of Law (now Seattle University School of Law), where he was a member of Law Review. He is a member of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ), the Washington State Bar Association, and the Thurston and Pierce County bar associations. He has served as a chair of the WSAJ Thurston County roundtable. Terry is a native of the Puget Sound area, and graduated from Washington State University in 1984.
Before becoming an attorney, Terry was a journalist for the Tacoma News Tribune and the Walla Walla Union Bulletin. He is a contributing author to the Washington State Bar Association publication Washington Civil Trial and Evidence Manual, Voir Dire to Verdict (Fifth Edition, 2004).
In addition to being an advocate for the injured, Terry is also active in local civil courts as an arbitrator and mediator. He is regularly selected as an arbitrator to perform mandatory arbitrations in Thurston County Superior Court. He also serves as a Judge Pro-Tem and Settlement Conference Judge for Thurston County District Court.
Terry is a Washington State Association for Justice Eagle member. He enjoys volunteering in the community, coaching baseball, acting as a high school mock trial coach and cub scout den leader, and serving on the St. Michael School Commission.
